2 Dead, 1 Wounded After Violent Night In Vallejo
VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- Authorities in Vallejo are investigating a double homicide in a residential neighborhood and a separate shooting that wounded a man outside a city grocery store on Tuesday night.
The two murders occurred in the area of Reis and Woodrow avenues in an unincorporated pocket of Vallejo near the interchange of interstate highways 80 and 780, Solano County Sheriff's Lt. Gary Faulkner said.

Sheriff's deputies responding to reports of gunfire around 10:50 p.m. found a man dead inside a white vehicle in the middle of Reis Avenue, Faulkner said.
They then found a second deceased man in the driveway of a home in the first block of Reis Avenue, about a half-block from the white car, Faulkner said.
A resident contacted one of the deputies to report that he had seen a suspicious man in a garage, Faulkner said. That man was located and arrested on drug charges, but he is not believed to be connected to the homicides, Faulkner said.
However, Faulkner said, "We'll look at him closely to see if he was involved in the shootings."
The sheriff's office is still looking for witnesses to the murders, Faulkner said.
A separate shooting occurred near the intersection of Marin and Tennessee streets in Vallejo around 8:25 p.m. that evening, Vallejo police Sgt. Ken Weaver said.
The victim, a 25-year-old man, was taken to John Muir Medical Center, Weaver said. He underwent surgery Tuesday night and was listed in critical condition, Weaver said.
The shooter was described only as a Hispanic man who was with two black men, Weaver said.
The victim apparently had contact with the suspects outside the Okbah Shop at 1500 Marin Street just before the shooting, Weaver said.
Vallejo police and the county sheriff's office were investigating whether the two incidents are connected, Weaver and Faulkner said.
