2 Big-Rigs Collide On Highway 92 Near Half Moon Bay
HALF MOON BAY (CBS SF) -- Two big-rig trucks that collided near Half Moon Bay blocked the westbound lane of state Highway 92 Thursday afternoon, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The crash was reported near Pillarcitos Creek Road around 2:20 p.m., CHP Officer Marc Johnston said.
There were no reports of serious injuries, though an ambulance was dispatched to the scene, Johnston said.
Emergency crews were continuing to work to clear the roadway as of 4:15 p.m. The westbound lane reopened to traffic around 4:45 p.m.
A Sig-alert was issued at 2:57 p.m., and motorists were being advised to use alternate routes.
