2 Bicyclists Hit, Injured By Vehicle In Newark

NEWARK (CBS SF) -- Two bicyclists were struck and injured by a vehicle in Newark on Wednesday night, according to police.

The collision at the intersection of Newark Boulevard and Ruschin Drive, near Newark Community Park, was reported to police at 8:07 p.m.

Both bicyclists were injured in the collision. The extent of their injuries has not yet been released, according to police.

The driver of the vehicle stopped and remained at the scene of the collision until police arrived.

The details and cause of the collision remained under investigation.
