2 Arrested In Rohnert Park Home Robbery
ROHNERT PARK (BCN) - Two suspects were taken into custody in connection with a robbery and burglary Friday morning at a residence in unincorporated Sonoma County outside Rohnert Park, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said.
An occupant of a home in the 300 block of Millbrae Avenue was struck in the head with an unknown object by one of the suspects when he interrupted the burglary that occurred around 9 a.m., Lt. Tim Duke said.
The burglary suspects then fled with household items and drove away in a minivan, Duke said.
The sheriff's office's helicopter "Henry-1" spotted the suspects' minivan parked at a residence on Rancho Verde Circle in the Rancho Verde Mobile Home Park in Rohnert Park, Duke said.
Deputies confirmed it was the van used in the burglary and robbery and contacted the occupants of the mobile home, Duke said.
The suspects came out of the residence and two of them were taken into custody, Duke said.
The names of the suspects were not yet available Friday afternoon.
