2 Arrested In Execution-Style Killing Outside San Jose McDonald's
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - Two San Jose teenagers have been arrested in connection with a suspected gang murder outside a South Bay McDonalds.
On March 16th, Ruben Cortez was approached from behind and shot in the back of the head as he stood in the driveway of a McDonalds on South Bascom Ave. Cortez died four days later.
On Friday, San Jose police arrested 18-year-old suspects Raymundo Nava and Brandon Wantland in connection with the crime. Police said they found evidence at Nava's home and on surveillance video from the area linking the men to the killing.
