2 Arrested In August Vallejo Murder
VALLEJO (BCN) - Vallejo police arrested two people Saturday in connection with the murder of a man who was found dead in his pickup truck in August.
Alfonso Arthur Mestas Jr., 38, and Jessica Nicole Gonzales, 23, were arrested at 931 Kentucky St. in Vallejo.
Mestas was booked into Solano County Jail on suspicion of murdering 38-year-old Saint Nick Stanley, and Gonzales was booked for allegedly being an accessory.
Mestas is being held without bail and Gonzales' bail is $1 million.
Stanley was found dead of a gunshot wound in a truck parked outside the Deluxe Inn at 2070 Solano Ave. at about 2:50 p.m. on Aug. 8.
Stanley's murder was the seventh of 14 homicides this year in Vallejo.
