15-Year-Old Boy Arrested In NorCal Elder Sex Assault
SACRAMENTO (CBS/AP) -- A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault on a woman in Sacramento County, according to authorities.
The teen is also accused of stealing money from the woman in the Feb. 6 attack at an apartment complex.
Sheriff's officials say the suspect overpowered the victim, a woman in her 60s.
The boy, who has not been named because he is a juvenile, was taken into custody Tuesday.
He was booked on suspicion of robbery, burglary, forcible rape, elder abuse and injury to a telephone line.
