15-Year-Old Arrested In SF Market Street Shooting
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - A 15-year-old boy was arrested after a shooting on San Francisco's Market Street on Monday night.
The shooting was reported at 10:23 p.m. near Market and Fifth streets.
Police said the boy got into an argument with a 25-year-old man, then took out a handgun and shot the man in the leg.
The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, police said.
Officers responded and arrested the boy, whose name is not being released because he is a juvenile, police spokesman Sgt. Dennis Toomer said.
