10 Arrested In Contra Costa County Parole Violation Sweep
ANTIOCH (CBS SF) -- More than 50 law enforcement officers arrested 10 people during an early-morning sweep Thursday of suspects wanted for violating their parole or probation, according to the Contra Costa County Probation Department.
During the sweep throughout East Contra Costa County, officers also seized two guns and drug paraphernalia, probation officials said.
The names of those arrested have not been released.
Personnel from the county probation, sheriff's and district attorney's offices, Antioch, Pittsburg, Brentwood and Oakley police departments, the FBI and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement carried out the operation.
