1 Hurt In Antioch Shooting
ANTIOCH (CBS SF) -- A man was found shot near an Antioch apartment complex on Wednesday night, police said Thursday.
Officers received a report around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday of a shooting victim at the Village at Park View apartments in the 2800 block of Gentrytown Drive, police said.
They responded and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg and a head injury.
The victim was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek to be treated for his injuries, which were not life-threatening, police said.
Police believe the man was shot after arguing with another man, but the case remains under investigation.
