1 Dead, 3 Injured In New York City Crane Collapse
NEW YORK (CBS) — One person is dead and at least three others are hurt, two seriously, after a crane collapsed in lower Manhattan Friday morning.
According to CBS New York, it happened just before 8:30 a.m. at 40 Worth Street near Church Street in TriBeCa.

The crane landed on several parked cars, crushing their roofs. Video from the scene shows mangled metal and debris strewn across at least two city blocks. Part of the crane could be seen wedged up against a building.
