1 Dead, 1 Injured In North Richmond Drive-By Shooting
NORTH RICHMOND (CBS SF) - One person was killed and another victim was taken by helicopter to a hospital after a drive-by shooting in North Richmond Monday night, a Contra Costa County sheriff's lieutenant said.
The sheriff's office responded to a drive-by shooting at 8:52 p.m. at West Ruby Avenue and Second Street, Lt. Scott Haggard said.
A male victim was found dead at the scene. A female victim was taken to Doctors Medical Center before she was flown in a medical helicopter to John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek, Haggard said.
Authorities were able to recover the vehicle involved in the drive-by, Haggard said.
The suspects are at-large as the investigation continues. There was no suspect description available, the lieutenant said.
