Vegetation fire burning off Hwy. 20 in Yuba County; evacuations ordered
According to Cal Fire, the estimated 10-acre fire is burning off of Highway 20 at Sicard Flat Road in Yuba County. The fire is located about 18 miles northeast of Yuba City near the town of Smartsville. Mandatory evacuations are in effect along Gary Road, Lanza Road and Frontier Trail.
