Man accused of slashing Rancho Cordova man with machete appears in court
At the hearing, 42-year-old James Hall was formally charged with attempted murder for the attack on 60-year-old Timothy J. Fairall of Rancho Cordova. He was assigned a public defender. His next hearing, a formal arraignment, was scheduled for December 15.
