Elk Grove to consider building new affordable-housing complex
The Elk Grove City planning commission will meet Thursday to consider moving forward with a new affordable housing apartment complex. The Lyla would have 294 units in 13, three-story buildings. Amenities would include a community room, gym, swimming pool, plaza and parking. The complex is set to be built near the northwest corner of Bruceville Road and Laguna Boulevard.
