The San Francisco 49ers lost on the road to the Chicago Bears, 26-6, on a day when the once-proud organization quarterback tradition took a major hit. The 49ers totaled just six yards net passing in the loss, resulting in a franchise record no team with Head Coach Chip Kelly should be setting.
The San Francisco 49ers have a bad defense this season, and part of the problem has been a lot of injuries. Not only did the 49ers lose the heart and soul of the defense (NaVorro Bowman) earlier this year to a season-ending injury, but linebacker Aaron Lynch has been absent for most of the season due to suspension and injury. The S.F. organization has not been able to fill this void, and Lynch is still questionable for Sunday's game in Chicago.
The San Francisco 49ers are 1-10 as they prepare to travel to Chicago this weekend to face the 2-9 Bears, and it is some relief to see a team on the schedule that is struggling just as much as the 49ers have been.
