If you have the microchip number, check with the manufacturer’s website.
If you don’t have a microchip number, go to the vet or shelter for a free scan.
Register your chip with separate, free registry like Found.org.
Have the chip checked annually to make sure it emits a signal and hasn’t migrated through your pet's body.
