The Sac Cultural Hub Media Foundation (SCHMF) presented the 13th Annual Exceptional Women of Color (EWOC) Awards & Expo on September 28th. The theme of this year's event was "Women of Color Changing the Face of History." The event was held a at Scott's Seafood on the River inside the Portofino Pavilion in Sacramento with Red carpet arrivals and grand opening of the Expo SCHMF recognized 12 diverse women from Northern California for their accomplishments in their professions and community.

Hard Hats & High Heels Gala fundraiser with $320,000 raised at the Gala to directly support building and repairing homes for low income families, seniors, and veterans in need of affordable housing.
On September 16, the Midtown Association presented two events in one -- the Midtown Mini/Midtown Love celebration. The Midtown Mini was a 35-hole miniature golf activation set-up outdoors at 20th & K streets and was followed by an always-popular Midtown Love celebration at the iconic Faces Nightclub.
