Saint John's Program For Real Change Polo For Change
On Saturday, May 20, Saint John's Programs inaugural Polo for Change Event was hosted at Chamberlain Ranch in Wilton where over 900 people came together for an amazing, fun-filled event, featuring delicious food catered by Plates Café and Catering and Chef Jay Veregge of Ten22, a shopping promenade, a silent auction, live music, California Cowgirls and CalCrush Clydesdales demonstrations, a fabulous hat competition, a dapper gentleman's contest, and a Champagne Divot Stomp! Rob Stewart and Kellie DeMarco emceed the afternoon as Saint John's named program alumna, Amber R., the Saint John's Mother of the Year, and local artist Maren Conrad its 2017 Community Mother of the Year. The award, now in its 11th year, honors community leaders who exemplify the qualities and characteristics women strive to achieve in motherhood as well as and in life. Thanks to generous donors, sponsors, volunteers, and DSA Auction and Events, $240,000 was raised to benefit women and children who are working hard to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness once and for all!
