Yuba County Senior's Disappearance Prompts Silver Alert
YUBA COUNTY (CBS13) - A silver alert has been issued for a missing Yuba County woman.
Betty Bowen, 78, has been missing since October 29.
Her daughter says Bowen left her home in Olivehurst to go shopping and hasn't been seen since. Bowen is described as Caucasian, 5'2", 100 pounds, with long grey hair and brown eyes.
She drives a 1987 silver two-door Ford sedan with California license plate 2FSU249.
Authorities issued the alert because those close to Bowen say it is out of character for her to be missing this long.
Anyone who may have seen Bowen is asked to call the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at (530) 749-7777.
