Yuba City Landscaper Accused Of Raping Two Employees

YUBA CITY (CBS13) — A Yuba City landscaper is facing serious legal trouble after investigators say he raped two employees.

Investigators describe Growing Healthy Yard Care owner Pascual Gonzalez as a brutal boss. Two of his hires say Gonzalez raped them—one saying the attack came on her first day at work.

His son, Paul Gonzalez says his dad is innocent.

"We know that everything is going to be fine, because there's no evidence that he did anything," he said.

Pascual was first taken into custody on a single rape charge by an employee on Dec. 14. Since then, a second employee has come forward.

He's being held on $600,000 bail and will appear in court later this month.

Editor's Note: In an earlier version of this story, an erroneous spelling of Pascual Gonzalez's name was reported by the Yuba County Sheriff's Office and has been corrected.
