SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A young woman has been arrested after slamming her car into a Sacramento home early Wednesday morning.

CHP says the woman, around 20 years old, was driving on Pasadena Avenue at Newell Street when she lost control of the car.

She went up on the lawn and into a home, causing minor damage to the house.

Officers say she tried to back up but was stopped.

She was arrested on DUI charges.
