Young Suspects Sought For Robberies, Sexual Assault

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Police are working to locate three young suspects who committed a violent series of robberies and sexual assaults around Oak Park neighborhoods.

The Sacramento Police Department said the three male juveniles, described as being between 12 and 16 years old, robbed a number of victim in at least four incidents with a BB gun in Lawrence Park and surrounding neighborhoods between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.

One robbery victim on 11th Avenue was shot in the eye with the BB gun and assaulted when he fell to the ground.

The three suspects allegedly sexually assaulted two women after forcing them to strip naked  in Lawrence Park, according to authorities.

"It's startling to see that young doing this level of crime, but it is something we see," said Sacramento Police Lt. Jim Henderson.

The suspects have not been located and escaped the area on bicycles. No detailed description of the subjects is available, but one of the suspects apparently had shoulder-length dreadlocks or braids.
