The year of 2015 is ending fast, so here are the top-10 sports stories posted on KHTK.com since Jan. 1, 2015.

10. Report: Seth Curry Rejected Warriors Contract - Sept. 10

After bouncing around the NBA's D-league, Seth Curry - the younger brother of MVP and Golden State Warrior Stephen Curry - decided to sign with the Sacramento Kings. Apparently the Warriors, who had just won their first title in 40 years, offered Seth more money than the Kings. Turns out he didn't want to play in big brother's shadow on the NBA's most popular team.

9. VIDEO: Marshawn Lynch Caught In Brawl In San Francisco - March 14

TMZ Sports posted a video showing the Seattle Seahawks player engaging is a brawl that took place outside a bar in San Francisco. Lynch and his crew of friends were leaving the bar when bystander taunted the RB. The person in question called Lynch a "Seattle Sea Chicken." Rage ensued.

8. NBA DRAFT: Sacramento Kings Select Willie Cauley-Stein With No. 6 Pick - June 25

After the leaked reports of head coach George Karl wanting to trade star center DeMarcus Cousins this past offseason, the draft was filled with drama and suspense as the Kings held the No. 6 pick. Would they trade Cousins and a draft pick? Were the Lakers interested in trading away their No. 2 pick for Cousins? So many questions! Finally the answers came when the Lakers drafted D'Angelo Russell and the Kings settled for big man Willie Cauley-Stein. Welcome to the Kings, kid.

7. Aaron Hernandez Celebrates Life Sentence With Gang-Related Tattoo - May 22

After being ruled with a life sentence for the murder of Odin Lloyd, former NFL standout Aaron Hernandez was photographed Thursday with a new tattoo that is confirmed to be gang-related, according to ABC News. The tattoo, which reads "Lifetime," is on the right side of his neck above a five-point star.

6. Step Aside NFL—Sacramento Girl's Science Project Solves Deflategate Controversy - Feb. 19

The New England Patriots are getting support in Sacramento from a 9-year-old girl's school science project. The Deflategate controversy left the New England Patriots defending themselves against allegations they cheated by intentionally deflating footballs.

Sienna Keigwin is a fourth-grader who knows the science of a spiral, and why the controversy has Tom Brady under an NFL microscope.

5. Slain Grant HS Football Player Mourned, DeMarcus Cousins To Pay For Funeral - Nov. 14

Religious leaders and city officials joined family and friends at Grant Union High School to remember an energetic young football player they knew as JJ. In a show of support that was at first anonymous, Sacramento Kings player DeMarcus Cousins said that he would pay for Jaulon's funeral expenses. Cousins personally called the family to offer his help.

4. Lebron James Accidentally Exposes Himself While Adjusting Shorts During NBA Finals - June 11

This was unfortunate. Before tip-off in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, LeBron James was adjusting his shorts when the broadcast decided to have a high-angle shot on him. It was difficult to notice it live, but looking closely, you can definitely see the man's johnson. The real question is if he is now cursed. The Cavs had a 2-1 advantage only to lose three-straight and ultimately the title after the incident. Hmm.

3. Reports: 49ers In Talks To Trade Colin Kaepernick - March 8

Boy, looking back, if the 49ers traded him back then, they would have gotten a decent return. Now that Kaepernick is on the Injury Reserve, his future in Santa Clara is still uncertain - only instead of a possible trade, it'll most likely be him getting cut from the team.

2. San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick Calls Out Fan On Twitter, Says 'Get Better At Life' - Feb. 18

Remember when Colin Kaepernick schooled that guy on twitter? Because I don't. I guess Kaepernick's ego has deflated faster than Tom Brady's footballs. Twitter beefs between fans and athletes are always hilarious. The athlete will always win - at the end of the day, they drive the car you want, live in a house of your dreams, and count their millions of dollars while the fans complain on social media.

1. San Francisco 49ers Chris Borland Says He's Retiring Over Head Trauma Concerns - March 16

During the blitz of an offseason the 49ers had, the biggest surprise was rookie Chris Borland announcing his retirement from football at the prime age of 24. Sure, Patrick Willis was over 30 years old, and Justin Smith's retirement was somewhat expected, but Borland was a great linebacker who decided the risk wasn't worth the reward. Months later, a film starring Will Smith called "Concussion" would hit theaters - we may be seeing more retirements like Borland's in the near future.
