Woman's Body Found In Car In Rio Linda
RIO LINDA (CBS13) - Sheriff's deputies are investigating the suspicious death of a woman after her body was found in a car Rio Linda.
The body was discovered in a car on Q Street on Wednesday afternoon by family members. She had been missing for a couple of days, and investigators say the family was searching for her car when they spotted the body.
"And that's how the family members actually recognized it. They were driving down the street, recognized the vehicle, saw it, got out and approached and found her inside," said Deputy Jason Ramos of the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies say there was no obvious sign of trauma. Homicide detectives were called out but the death has not been classified as a homicide.
