Woman Injured In Overnight Rio Linda House Fire
RIO LINDA (CBS13) - Investigators are combing through debris left from a fire at a Rio Linda home overnight.
Firefighters arrived to the home on Monticello Avenue and Linn Way and found heavy flames shooting through the window of a bedroom.
A smoke detector alerted everyone inside before flames got too intense.
The total damage is still being determined, but firefighters say sometimes the smoke caused just as much damage as the fire.
One woman was taken to the hospital for possible minor smoke inhalation.
No other injuries were reported.
