Woman Injured In Natomas House Fire

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- An elderly woman has been rushed to the hospital after suffering burns in a Natomas house fire.

The Sacramento Fire Department said the firefighters pulled the victim out of a rear bedroom inside a burning home on the 600 block of Potomac Avenue just before 7:00 p.m. Sunday.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was rushed to the UC Davis Burn Center.

Two dogs were treated for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
