Woman Hit, Killed On Highway 99 Near Yuba City
YUBA CITY (CBS13) – A woman was hit and killed along Highway 99 in south Yuba City early Tuesday morning.
According to California Highway Patrol, a driver coming up from Sacramento struck the woman near Hunn Road just after 3 a.m.
The driver says by the time he saw the victim, he couldn't avoid hitting her. She has not been identified at this time.
CHP says the driver wasn't under the influence of any substance.
The roadway was closed for a time but has since reopened.
