Woman Exits Moving Vehicle; Boyfriend Arrested For DUI

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A woman was ejected from a moving vehicle driving by her boyfriend and he was arrested early Saturday morning.

The victim, a 35-year-old whose name wasn't released, had been drinking at a bar with boyfriend Brian Galvan, 25, on Northgate Boulevard.

When they left the bar at about 1:45 a.m., traveling north on Northgate near San Juan Road, she exited the moving vehicle, causing life-threatening injuries. Police say it was unclear how she fell out of the vehicle. She was transported to an area hospital.

Galvan stayed on the scene and was arrested for driving under the influence.
