Woman, 21, dies after crash on Turnpike Road in Stockton
STOCKTON — A 21-year-old woman has died after a crash in Stockton on Saturday night.
Stockton police say officers responded a little before 9 p.m. to the 1700 block of Turnpike Road to investigate a reported crash.
At the scene, officers found a solo vehicle crash. The driver, a 21-year-old woman, was hurt and transported to the hospital.
Police say the woman later died from her injuries.
Exactly what led up to the crash is still under investigation.
The name of the woman who died has not yet been released by authorities.
