Outdoor Fire Permits Not Being Issued To Limit Wildfire Threat
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Cal Fire is halting the issuance of burn permits in half a dozen counties in an effort to prevent wildfires.
Permits are suspended for burning debris like branches and leaves outside of homes.
The ban applies to Sonoma, Lake, Napa, Solano, Yolo, Placer and Colusa counties.
Campfires are still allowed with a permit from a fire station or online from Cal Fire.
