Person dies after West Sacramento collision along Jefferson Boulevard
WEST SACRAMENTO – An investigation is underway after a deadly collision along a major West Sacramento street on Thursday morning.
West Sacramento police say the incident happened on Jefferson Boulevard, near Marshall Road.
Exactly what led up to the collision is unclear, but police confirmed that at least one person had died.
Due to the investigation, Jefferson Boulevard is blocked between Linden and Marshall roads. Drivers should expect the road to be closed for several hours.
