College Football Weekly Q&A: Texas A&M Vs. Louisville
The college football bowl season is here. Forty games will be played over the next two weeks. Who'll come out on top in the Music City Bowl? CBS Radio's Ken Boehlke breaks down the Louisville-Texas A&M matchup.
Q: Who'll win?
A: Neither team has lived up to expectations this year, so it feel like they're playing for the consolation prize. That being said, Louisville looks much better than Texas A&M in the post season. On offense, the Aggies have been a mess and are being put to task against a superb defense comprised of possibly six future NFL players.
Q: What'll be the key to Louiville's win?
A: There's no reason I can see to trust Jake Hubenak vs. Lamar Jackson. It all comes down to who plays better on defense. On paper, Louisville looks much better.
Q: So it's all about the defense?
A: Yep. That's how it'll be: two young QBs and defensive units ready to chew them up. Sheldon Rankins and Devante Fields are going to wreak havoc on the Texas A&M offensive line and force Hubenak to make decisions quicker than he would like.
On the other side, Lamar Jackson just isn't ready to take on a D with the athleticism and speed of the Aggies.
The combined score will be under 47.5 points.
