Warriors Offer $42 Million To Clippers' Jordan

OAKLAND (AP) — The Golden State Warriors have signed center DeAndre Jordan of the Los Angeles Clippers to a restricted free agent offer sheet.

The team announced the signing Sunday. A person with knowledge of the negotiations says the offer sheet signed is for a $42.7 million, four-year deal. As a restricted free agent, the Clippers have three days to match the offer.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to disclose the information.

The 6-foot-11 Jordan has emerged as an athletic and promising young center in three years in Los Angeles. He averaged 7.1 points and 7.2 rebounds in 25 minutes per game last season.
