Wallet May Have Saved Life Of Store Clerk Shot During Attempted Robbery
MODESTO (CBS13) – A Modesto store clerk's wallet may have saved his life during a shooting Wednesday night.
The man was working at the Standiford Mini Mart in north Modesto when three suspects walked into the store and one of the men pulled out a gun.
The clerk fought with the men for the gun and a shot went off, hitting the clerk's wallet in his pants pocket.
Two of the suspects were arrested.
