Vehicle Of Missing, Pregnant Sacramento Woman Found In Elk Grove; Body Inside
ELK GROVE (CBS13) - The vehicle belonging to a pregnant Sacramento woman who was reported missing over a week ago has been located, and woman's body was found inside, according to authorities.
On Monday night Elk Grove police located the 2005 Toyota Prius belonging to Aubrey Andrews, 20, of Sacramento. It was found in a parking lot near the 8400 block of Elk Grove Boulevard, according to a statement from the Sacramento Police Department. Police found the body of a deceased adult female inside the car.
Sacramento Police Department investigators arrived at the scene and confirmed that it was Aubrey's car.
Police have not released the identity of the woman, but say there do not appear to be obvious signs of foul play.
The investigation is ongoing.
The Coroner's office will release the identity of the woman after proper notifications have made.
Aubrey was last seen on December 6 around 10 p.m. near her home in the 5900 block of Jacinto Avenue. She was reportedly distraught when she left her home and drove off, police say.
"I wouldn't want my son to grow up without his mom," Aubrey's husband, Edward Andrews, told CBS13 on Sunday.

Through tears, Edward explained how the disappearance of his wife is impacting their 3-year-old son.
"He had said that, 'mommy's gone,'" said Edward.
"Well obviously, if you're nine months pregnant, you're pretty far along and that's another human life we're talking about. So we want to track her down as quickly as possible," said Sacramento Police Department spokesman Ofc. Justin Brown.
"The baby could come, like, right now, today, tonight," said Edward.
He says he knew she was upset and was leaving the house for a bit, but did not expect her to be gone this long without contacting family and friends.
"It's a lot to handle; a lot to take in," he said.
Edward says Aubrey left with nothing but the clothes on her back — even leaving behind her purse and wallet.
