Vacaville Man's Second Chance Sends Him To Super Bowl 50
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS13) — A Vacaville man got the lunch of his life on Friday after winning a second-chance contest from the California Lottery.
Ralph McClelland and his son were at the event after he entered a losing California Lottery ticket into a special Super Bowl drawing that won him a chance to go to Super Bowl 50 and meet some NFL legends.
"For my dad to invite me to this, was once in a lifetime," John McClelland said.
The two football fans got a chance to walk around and mingle with more than 50 Hall of Fame icons like former Oakland raider Dave Casper.
Inside the Pro Football Hall of Fame luncheon, there's a yellow jacket assigned to each table. The NFL acknowledges their achievements, and fans can fire off all sorts of questions.
