1 person dead in Vacaville house fire, firefighters say
VACAVILLE – An early morning house fire in Vacaville has left one person dead, officials say.
Vacaville Fire says crews responded to Goldy Court around 3:30 a.m. and found flames coming from a single-story home. A second alarm was called.
Firefighters entered the home and found one person inside, fire officials say; the person was soon pronounced dead at the scene.
Crews from Suisun City and Fairfield responded to help with the fire.
Exactly what started the fire is under investigation. The name of the person who died has not yet been released by authorities.
