US Says Jozy Altidore Available To Play Vs Belgium
The U.S. Soccer Federation says Jozy Altidore is available for Tuesday's World Cup second-round game against Belgium.
Altidore strained his left hamstring in the Americans' opener against Ghana on June 16, and the forward didn't appear in their next two games.
He has been working out on his own, and the USSF tweeted Monday that he "is ready and available." The extent of his availability was not clear.
