Two Vacaville Men Arrested In Davis Beating
DAVIS (CBS13) -- Davis Police detectives have arrested two Vacaville men suspected of beating attacking a man on the street and then beating him unconscious.
Frederick Bryson, 18, was arrested at about 6 p.m. Wednesday in West Sacramento in the parking lot of the Ramada Inn, and Terrence O'Neil, 21, was arrested at about 9 p.m. in Vacaville.
Both suspects were subsequently booked at the Yolo County Jail on charges of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. Some of the victim's property was recovered at the time of the arrest.
Detectives say the 20-year-old victim, who is being treated at UC Davis Medical Center, met a woman online and invited her to meet him in Davis. As he and the woman were walking in the area of Covell and Highway 113 on Tuesday, the woman's friends attacked and robbed him.
Bryson and O'Neil then chased the victim into an apartment complex and beat him with a club, knocking him unconscious, police said.
Police have identified the woman but did not release her name. Her role in the incident is still being investigated and she has not been arrested.
