Two People Arrested, Officer Hurt After Pizza Delivery Van Robbed
SOUTH SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Two people have been arrested after police begin looking for witnesses of a robbery in South Sacramento.
Police say a pizza delivery van was robbed in on Hollyhurst Way late Monday night.
Police first took a report at the pizza parlor and then went back to the neighborhood where the robbery took place in search of suspects or witnesses.
As officers began questioning those they believe were responsible for the pizza order, one person allegedly attacked an officer and others then jumped in.
Two people were arrested on assault charges.
An officer hurt his knee during the attack.
