Two Bodies Found In Apparent Modesto Murder-Suicide
MODESTO (CBS13) - Police are investigating what they believe is a murder-suicide after a couple was found dead in their Modesto home Wednesday evening.
At around 5:20 p.m., the couple's daughter called police, saying she had discovered the two bodies after making a trip to check on her mother.
Responding officers found 89-year-old Donald Shively and 70-year-old Lillian Shively with gunshot wounds in the 1900 block of Monticello Avenue. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting is still under investigation.
