Two Arrested For Vandalizing Church In Foresthill
FORESTHILL (CBS13) -- Two suspects were arrested for allegedly breaking into and vandalizing a church in Foresthill.
Thousands of dollars in property was damaged, including the set for an upcoming children's Christmas play, during the December 13 break-in at the New Hope Lutheran Church in Foresthill, say deputies.
On February 4, Placer County Sheriff Deputies arrested Sean Junkins, 19, and a 16-year-old suspect, also from Foresthill, on charges of burglary and vandalism. Junkins was booked into the Placer County Jail on felony burglary and vandalism charges, with bail set at $50,000. The teenage suspect was booked at Juvenile Hall.
The District Attorney's Office is reviewing criminal charges for two other juvenile suspects who could be linked to the crime.
