Two Arrested For Car Burglaries At Airport

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Two men were arrested Sunday morning for allegedly breaking into a number of vehicles parked at the Sacramento International Airport.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department said 35-year-old Mark Poe and 33-year-old Marshall Young were stopped in their vehicle by deputies at about 6:30 a.m. after parking employees spotted them breaking a vehicle's window.

The suspects admitted that they had burglarized seven different vehicles inside the lot and a witness identified them as the culprits, authorities said. Deputies also reported finding stolen property in the suspects' vehicle.

One of the victims was able to claim his stolen property Sunday and officials are keeping the rest of the property until the victims return from their travel.

The suspects are being held on charges of burglary and conspiracy.
