Two-Alarm Fire Damages Two Vacant Homes
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Two vacant homes were heavily damaged by a two-alarm fire overnight in Sacramento.
The fire broke out at a two-story vacant home on Iris Avenue at Albatross Way. It quickly spread to another vacant home.
Neighbors say they heard explosions just before the fire broke out. And one man says his son's girlfriend saw something very suspicious.
"Some guy came out of their in his pajamas. He came out of there two or three times acting kind of suspicious. Next thing we know the fire trucks are coming up," said neighbor Dewey Biggs.
Fire fighters are investigating the reports of someone inside the building before the fire began.
