Two-Alarm Fire Breaks Out At Sacramento Nursing Home
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A two-alarm fire broke out early Monday morning at a Sacramento nursing home forcing the evacuation of the residents, according to fire fighters.
The fire broke out at Crestwood Manor at 2600 Stockton Blvd.
Sacramento City fire fighters arrived to find the building filled with smoke. The flames started in one room at the assisted care facility. The building's sprinkler system kicked on controlling the fire.
All 72 resident were evacuated and there were no reports of injury.
The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
