Top Seeds Of The NCAA Bracket Revealed

Let the Big Dance begin! The NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Championship Tournament bracket has been revealed.

With no surprise the overall number one seed goes to Kentucky in the Midwest Region. The Wildcats went 34-0 this season. The school went on to claim the SEC title against Arkansas. The school will try to make history to become the first undefeated champions of the tournament since the 1976 Indiana team.

In the rest of the Midwest Region, Kansas took seed number two while the fighting Irish of Notre Dame took the third seed. Maryland placed in the fourth seed of the region.

The second overall number one seed went to Villanova and will face off against the Lafayette in the East Region round. Villanova ended the season with a record of 32-2. Virginia took the second seed. While Oklahoma and Louisville took the third and fourth seed of the East.

Duke took the third overall number one seed in the South Region. The Blue Devils finished the season at 29-4. The school will go against the winner of the first four game between North Florida and Robert Morris. North Florida is the only school to represent the state. This is the first appearance in the tournament for North Florida.

The rest of the south region include power house Gonzaga with the second seed. Gonzaga is considered a favorite to make it to the elite eight. Iowa State and Georgetown took the second and third seeds of the south.

In the West Region, the Badgers of Wisconsin took the number one seed. Wisconsin fought hard against Michigan State on Sunday to claim the Big Ten Conference title. The Badgers finished the season with a record of 31-3. Wisconsin will face off against the 16th seed out of the Big South, Coastal Carolina.

For the rest of the west, Arizona and Baylor claim the second and third seed. Harvard will face off the fourth seed, North Carolina.

The 2015 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament begins Tuesday with the first four: Manhattan vs. Hampton, Ole Miss vs BYU, North Florida vs Robert Morris, and Boise State vs Dayton.
