Three Killed In Jackson Highway Crash
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) - Investigators believe alcohol may have played a role in a horrific crash early this morning that killed three people near Sloughhouse.
CHP says a car was heading northbound on Sloughhouse Road where it intersects with the Jackson Highway when it failed to stop and left the roadway careening down an embankment.
Three men were killed, one of them believed to be the driver, was ejected.
The only man wearing a seatbelt, survived.
No word on his injuries this morning.
The car that crashed was being followed by another car of friends who were all headed to the Jackson Rancheria.
