Three Arrested In Sacramento Home Invasion Robbery
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Deputies arrested three people in connection with a home invasion robbery in Sacramento overnight.
At 4:20 a.m. a man called 911 reporting that his neighbor had been robbed at gunpoint in his apartment. The suspects -- one male and one female -- left the scene in a white Chevy SUV, say deputies. The victim was not injured.
About 20 minutes later, Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle on Howe Avenue near Hurley Way that matched the description of the getaway vehicle. Two men and a woman were inside. One of the men, Robert Wynne, 20, and the woman, Lori Voorhies, 44, were identified by the victim and the witness as the two who carried out the robbery. The third suspect, 30-year-old Richard Kohls, is believed to be the driver of the getaway vehicle.
A search of the vehicle turned up a loaded handgun in the center console. Deputies also found methamphetamines.
All three suspects were booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges of robbery, conspiracy, unlawful possession of a concealed, loaded firearm, possession of a loaded firearm by an ex-felon and possession of methamphetamines.
Wynne, Voorhies and Kohl, are being held on bail amounts of $210,000, $115,000 and $130,000, respectively.
