Power Restored To Most Lincoln Residents
LINCOLN, Calif. (CBS13) -- Thousands of NorCal residents were without power after heavy rain and wind walloped the Sacramento Valley and the Sierra foothills on Sunday.
PG&E crews worked to restore power to more than 4,000 people in Placer County, including thousands of Lincoln residents who were left in the dark when a tree toppled into a power line just before 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. At the outage's peak, nearly 9,900 were without power in Placer County.
At least 635 people in Nevada County, 2,150 people in El Dorado County, 150 people in Yolo County and 200 people in Solano County were also without power Sunday.
Officials say that only 1500 people are still without power Monday, but most residents are still having to deal with the high water in some parts of the city.
All of the outages are believed to be weather related.
